Default A grammar question

Is it correct to say: Mary is not only married but she also has two children.
Please pay attention to the two facts:being married & having children.

You could, but being married and having children are failrly natural connections, so I think there would need to be a reason for using the not only...but also structure. If you were correcting someone who thought that she was single, then it would work.
