    Default a restatement question

You should be able to tell the meaning of this word from its context.

    A) The context of the word gives one a pretty good idea of what it must mean.
    B) Out of context I couldn’t say what this word means.
    C) As you know the subject well, can’t you make out what he’s trying to say?
    D) You don’t know the word but you can still make an educated guess as to what it means.
    E) It wasn’t difficult to figure out what he was trying to say .

To me, D is a good distractor but A is correct, although it is not a good restatement of the sentence.

I agree that A) is correct. It's not the best restatement, but if this is from a test, I think the logic behind it as a question might be the use of 'must' to confuse people.
