I don't know of a way of limiting the length, but if you refine your saearch to include more terms, then you can increase the relevance. Why don't you give an example of a search you have tried and not been satified with, and we can see if we can improve it. Give an example of the words you used, what you were looking for and which search engine you used.

As tdol said, it's best to be more specific with your search terms. For example, what is it you want to find out about George Clooney? You could start out by typing "George Clooney"+"childhood", and you should get returns that more specifically talk about his early biography and background. Other ideas to search for, depending upon what you're looking for: George Clooney + marriages George Clooney + "Facts of Life" George Clooney + gossip By the way, www.imdb.com is a good place to start your search for celebrity information. Good luck!

With the internet nowadays, you are always going to get huge numbers of sites for most topics. The search engines try to place the sites they as most relevant near the top of the lists, and studies show that almost no one goes beyond the third page of a search. As Ouisch says, you should try to add more terms, which will shrink the ist. However, if you're just looking for a biography in general, then I'd do that search and havea look at the first few sites only. If you want something more specific, then try to add a few keywords related to that. I tried adding a film title and it reduced the list considerably, so if you were interested in a film, adding the title would improve the quality and relevance of the results.
