 ask for how many language in the world? I just want to know how many language and its respond country name in the world wide. but I search a lot in many sites, I can't find any information about that. Anyone know where I can find out these information. Thanks a lot! |

| Re: ask for how many language in the world? It's hard to say, but there are probably about 7,000 languages in the world. Many of them may well be spoken by just a few people, and many of those may be on the point of dying out. This page gives details of them all. It mentions 7,299 "primary names" -- some languages have more than one name. |
