"Precise estimation" is a common phrase in statistics and it means that the estimator is precise (I don't know how to explain it in other words, because I would explain it as "estimation is precise"...) From your reply I understand that the rest of the sentence didn't look awkward to you, what makes me happy.

OK- as a non-statistician, it seems odd, but as long as it's used, then it's fine.
