Pls check..
Is this statement correct?
"please correct me if I were wrong."
Is it in subjunctive mood?
thank you so much!

Re: Pls check..
Yeah,it's a right sentence!
There is no subjunctive mood in it (correct me if I'm wrong
)
My 2 cents

Re: Pls check..
smelvanzq, it should read, [i]Please correct me if I am wrong."

Re: Pls check..
I'm confused, isn't it in subjunctive mood?
I'm really not good in knowing subjunctive sentences. pls help. Thank you so much!

Re: Pls check..
There's no need for the subjunctive there:
Present Please correct me if I am wrong.
Past Please correct me if I was wrong.
In both cases, we're dealing with a real possibility, so the subjunctive seems out of place. In the second, the time is past, so it's not a second conditional.

Re: Pls check..
It's getting clear
pls check whether the following sentences are correct
If God close the door, He open a window
I wish I were there
sorry for too many questions, I'm really confused in subjunctive
pls give me some examples..
Thank you so much!

Re: Pls check..
If God closes the door, He opens a window.
I wish I were there.
(Many users will say 'I wish I was' too)
