Hello there,
this sentence, why should we use modification instead of modify?
1.0 please inform me if there is any modification need to be made.

"modify" is a verb, and "modification" is a noun. In your example sentence, the word modification requires an -s because "any" goes with plural nouns, like this,
1.0 Please inform me if any modifications need to be made.
Also note, the phrase "there is" should be "there are", and "that" should be added, like this,
1.0. If there are any modifications that need to be made, please inform me.
