Dear teachers,
Could you please explain the meaning of the sentence?
So the fact that a belief is 'old' is no argument in its favour.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thank you in advance.
Jiang
'old' as in a long held belief. For example, the belief that God created the world has been around since ancient times, but would you use that premise (i.e., that that belief has been around for a long time, that it's a long held belief) as an argument in support of, say, Creationsim? How favourable/strong is that argument?![]()

Dear Cas,
This is difficult to understand. Could you please kindly paraphrase the sentence?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thank you in advance.
