Default things like that

1. Is it correct to say " things like that" , shall I say " things like those"

If both are correct, can anyone give me an example?thanks!

Probably the more common is 'things like that', since we more usually deal with single examples:

I don't like tap-dancing, or things like that.
She made us late for the movie; I hate things like that.


If there are two or more examples, then 'things like those' would be more appropriate:

Ooh! Turnovers, tarts, raisin buns-- I like things like those.
