I can't tell the differences between them

2. obviously and apparently

3. leave out and miss out

4. possibly and probably

I'd just like to know the exact differences , so people who I'm talking to can understand exactly what I'm talking about.

I cheated on you - I was sexually unfaithful

obviously- clearly
apparently - from what others say, etc, but not necessarily a fact

possibly- it could happen
probably- more chance

I didn't know that cheat on sb has this sexual connotation,I've always used it without paying attention to this. I hope the people I talked to didn't take that meaning. :wink:

Which is worse- to cheat or to cheat on? If you have said this to people you aren't in such a relationship with, I'd imagine they'd understand your real meaning.
