I think that when Lara says to this homeless person that she needs to find a man so he thinks that any man will do for her and as a result refers to himself.Lara is very beatiful woman(so here I am babe how about me? no reason to go and find other men)
But when he finds out that she needs to find "the man" Louis Bouchard, he maybe gets disappointed and doesn't want to talk to Lara anymore.
Or maybe he knows the whereabouts of Mr Bouchard but for some reason doesn't want to say. Maybe Bouchard is in big trouble.

Look no further- it just means that there is no need to continue searching because the person is going to give you the answer. You'll see it used in adverts, etc, to show that they will solve your problems.
