wedding ceremony

Hi, I'm writing because my best friend's getting married on Saturday and she wants me to interpret the ceremony into English as her groom is from the US and part of his family will also be here.
I accepted, and have translated the whole speech,, still i have some questions...
Could anyone help me out there so i don't muck up the whole ceremony by saying something inappropriate?
my first question is this:

the lady myking the speech will greet the guests..
should i say I'M greeting the couple and the guests or it's better to say:
greetings to the couple etc...

Say 'greetings' as you're translating- you could add that you would like to extend your own greetings as well.
