Hello! how are you? Thanks in advance!
1.- I would like to say "I came back home at a late time yesterday"
Does it work the following sentence?
"I CAME BACK HOME LATE AT NIGHT YESTERDAY"
Even if it´s correct, I would like to know if there´s
another way in English to say that?
Thanks a lot!
Jesús
"at night" is OK, but it isn't necessary. And it's possible, even more efficient, to change "yesterday" to last night".
Here are more:
I got home (really) late, yesterday.
I arrived home (really) late, last night.
I was (really) late getting in last night.
It was terribly late when I arrive home last night.
It was a late night last night. I got home around 12:30 a.m.
