    Default meaning

    Hello,

could you please explain the meaning of the second part of the following sentence:

But 2006 could prove only marginally slower year – one of good consolidation after a 2-3 business spurt.

I donīt understand the word "consolidation" and donīt know whether the numbers "2-3" refer to years or what?

    Thank you very much

    Hanka

The two or three years before 2006 were a time of rapid growth and this year will be a time to bring it all together and make it more solid.
