Default about "at"

The earthquake took place at during the meal.
What is this "at"? Do you need this "at"?
Help me, please.

Tdol is right! 'At' should be emitted in that context because it is used with a noun phrase of 'place' or 'time'.

The earthquake took place
at 01:58 Saturday local time.
at the northeast end of the nation.
