Thank,
But im still confused by these 2
1. to be in or assume a horizontal or resting postion on a supporting surface:
lie-lay-lain
2. to put (something) down on a place: lay-laid-laid
K hope this helps
(Base) lay (past) laid (past participle) laid = as to put down
ie
I will lay the table for you
The table is laid come and have dinner
They laid her body to rest
(Base) lie (past) lay (past participle) lain = posistion
ie:
I want to lie down,
I lay down and went to sleep,
I have lain down so I will not get up until morning
