oh.. phrasal verbs..
Hello,
I am studying phrasal verbs and I can't undersand the meaning of "pull out" which I know it has to do with a car and traffic. I looked it up but I don't understand it, the same happens with squeeze out in this example:
"There's always some toothpaste left in the tube. I can never manage to squeeze the last bit out"
Also, I would like to know the difference between "sit down" and "sit out"
Thank you very much...

"Pull out" means a lot. Therefore, the meaning of the phrasal verb depends of the context.
(a) pull out( of a vehicle or its driver): to move away from the side of the road.
ex) A car suddenly pulled out in front of me.
(b) pull out (of something)
-(of a train) to leave a station.
-to move away from something or stop being involved in it.
ex) The project became so expensive that we had to pull out.
we pulled out the flowers.
I pulled him out of bed. We pull out( draw out) a nail.
I hope it helps.
