how does it work ? How does "would" work in this sentence, what's its function ?
/Until recenlty the only recognition and discussion of ballads WOULD be found in relation to... blah blah blah/

Teacher Re: how does it work ? It has a meaning similar to 'was found' or 'was to be found' (with the idea of 'if you looked for it')
