Omitting Words
Hello!. All-right?
"I thought that was brilliant, "THAT WAS" the best piano concert I had
ever heard, and "I" bought it on cd"
1.- Can I omit "that was" in the sentence above? It sounds
really bad!
2.- What about the personal pronoun? Can I leave it out as well?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Omitting Words
Hello J.
It sounds slightly awkward; it would be more usual like this:
1. I thought it was brilliant, the best piano concert I had
ever heard, and bought it on cd.
