I need help immediatley - using possessive (s)
Dear teachers,
Please I need an immediate help, I know that using possessive (S) with plurals nouns is as follows:
The boys' books.
We put just an apostrophe after the (s).
But what is the case with irregular plurals as: men, women.....
The men's trousers are grey. (This is the correct answer)
However, my son's teacher insists that we put (s) and an apostrophe after it like this :
The mens' trousers. (I think that this is a wrong answer).
Can anyone help me please to make sure that my answer is the correct one.

Hello Nour, welcome to UE!
You are quite right. If the teacher requires more evidence, you can direct him to this page, which has an example of "men's" (click on Punctuation, then Apostrophes):
