I found in a novel the expression "as though to bom to it" and I am not sure about its meaning. Hope someone is able to help me due to I am translating this novel and I must do a well-done job!

It appears to be a typo(graphical error). Could it be "born"? Notice that the letter sequence rn looks like the letter m.
"as though born to it" means, it comes naturally.
EX: He rides a horse as though born to ... ride a horse.

Oops, sorry. My bad. I didn't see the infinitive "to" marker there. Try,
"as though to bond to it" <to feel connected to it>
