| I would like to know if it is acceptable to say/write you welcome or welcome instead of you're welcome. Does the level of formality change or is it simply wrong? Thank you, Mia |

| If you're responding to "thank you," the correct phrase is "you're welcome." "You welcome" is incorrect. Sometimes people in a hurry just reply "welcome", but it's not really correct, and definitely would only be used in conversation, not in writing. |
