Default English vocabulary lists with French equivalents???

OK...here goes...brand new student insists she *must* have English vocabulary lists with their French equivalents listed beside them "for comparioson's sake"...does anybody know if such lists exist?

Please be assured that *I* know that my new student is taking EnglishSL and that this is not a good way to learn English vocabulary but she is a total beginner and feeling insecure and overwhelmed and if such lists exist I would like to provide her with them. I don't think it will take her long to find out that this method will only serve to confuse her. She's just arrived in town from France...started at the local language school only to be put in an *advanced* class "because there were weren't enough students to make up a beginners' class" so she's had a very unfortunate start.

If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'll be eternally greatful and owe you big time...

Fingers crossed,
Catherine
