Is it necessarily to put a comma before the word "too&q

I was wondering if there is a need to put a "comma" before the word "too" in sentence as in,

I like reading haunted stories. I like talking about them, too.


Do we need that comma there?

No, it is not necessary to put a comma before too in such sentences. It is optional. Example:

• A: I like bowling. Do you like bowling?
  B: Yes, I like it too.

(I think the phrase you are looking for is ghost stories.)

It is not normally needed. If it was needed it would be for the usual reasons and not because too is involved.

Some people do put the comma in, though. I often do, but not so much in a very short sentence. ;-)
