    Default Nouns

Could you please tell me how many nouns are in this sentence; I have 3000 CD's, 300 MD's and 150 DVD's in my collection in my house. What are the numbers classed as please ? Thank you.

The numbers are numerals, belonging to determiners: http://www.usingenglish.com/glossary/determiner.html

In your sentence, they are modiifying the nouns and so aren't nouns.

Isn’t the answer “five”? There are five nouns in the sentence, that is, “CDs”, “MDs”, “DVDs”, “collection”, and “house”. I’m not confident, though…We sometimes have catchy questions like that. If I’m wrong, I’m so sorry in advance!
