Post Comparison of adjectives
I would like to know how to form the comparative of adjectives that are one syllable and end in "ed." Is there a different rule (than adding "er" and "est." For example, what is the comparative of "tired," bored," etc.?

Normally, they take more/most, but some people use -er/-est with some, though I haven't heard 'boredest' used except jokingly.
