How can reading develop or enhance each skill separately from another ?

Re: Reading develops other skills

Re: Reading develops other skills
It enriches vocabulary. Exposure to sentence patterns, textual structure, etc, helps people with writing.

Re: Reading develops other skills
Any eposure to language will result in some learning. Reading a l;ot exposes students to things like sentence poatterns. If you read thjousands of paragraphs, you will picj\k up a sense of how we organise them, which enables students to then produce them. If a student reads a newspaper, say, then they will come across lots of contemporary words and phrases and also see how arguments and opinions are strictured. Studnets who read a lot can then often reproduce thios in their writing, so they produce more natural, better oragnised arguments in things like exam questions.
