| This sentence refer to future or continuous tense? what time is your parent coming home? besides that, we use is to determine singular and are to determine plural or is/are to determine +ing? .. or either? |

| It's the present continuous, but the time reference is future. is- singular are- plural Here it's singular because it's one parent. |

| it refers to future? If he or she answers "My parent is coming home" (mean that his or her parent is on the process coming home) "My parent is coming home at 3 pm" (mean that his or her parent will come back at 3pm) am i right? thank |
