    I Want to know the difference between "persuade,advise,and convince"! How to use them in different context?

    I prefer to stick to the traditional distinction:"Persuade" is associated with action {He persuaded me to buy a new car}. "Convince" is associated with beliefs or understandings {The defendant convinced me of his innocence}. Persuade to, convince of, convince/persuade that.

    But do check out dictionary.com as Casiopia suggested.
