 A Sentence Completion Question I would appreciate if you could please help me on the following question: According to figures, world population is increasing _____ in _____ highly industrialized countries. A) the slowest / as B) slower / most C) the most slowly / the more D) slowly / such as E) the slower / the most It looks there's something weird in the formation but I would choose C anyway since "the most slowly" seems to be acceptable for the first blank due to an adverb requirement and again "the more" could be too because of the same reason. |
