a sentence to ask for help "And we have a scientist who, as I have since seen proved,had no rival west of the Atlantic."
I want to know the structrue of this sentence and the meaning of "as I have seen proved" in it .

Teacher Re: a sentence to ask for help as I have since seen proved is used to confirm that the speaker knows the statement to be a fact from personal observation.
