which one is correct? why?

1. I may go there.
2. I may be go there.

the 1st sentence
there are 2 verb in the 2nd sentence,and it's improper to say " I may be go there",It should be "I may be going there" ( to express a possibility in the future,for example)

Correct me if I'm wrong
