| I have some difficulties with other words, too. You learn a language, for example English, but when can you say that one studies English? I have come across with both uses. The other word which gives me a hard time is arrive. arrive at places arrive in towns/countries arrive home What about : arrive at school or arrive school? Is it correct without a preposition? | study a language....that´s what you do at university and I'd say: I arrive at school |
