Dear Sir or Madam
I am Mehtap Balci,
I am writing from Turkey. I need to write a letter of enquiry to Australia and New Zealand Consul Mr. Richard Rennert. My aim is to apply for working in the Australia and New Zealand Consulate in my city Canakkale-TURKEY. Apart from my CV, i would like to add some knowledge about the history of Gallipoli Battlefield to the letter, to give point to my particular interest at this theme. However, i feel that i am totally lost as i do not know how to write and very excited as he is a Consul. I aspire to that job and it has been my dream for years. For these reasons, İ am very scared of making mistakes. İf you could help me, this would make me very happy. I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours Faithfully

Re: Dear Sir or Madam
Why would you include this in a job application letter? I think the letter should contain only what is relevant.

private letter
Dear Sir or Madam,
İ believe that this is not only an application letter, also a personal letter. This is why i want to add some historical knowledge which is regarding Gallipoli Battlefield. My request is about how to write those in a formal way, what words, verbs to use. Thank you
Yours Faithfully

Re: private letter
OK, but in what way is this related to the job application? In most formal letters, we try only to include the information needed for the purposes of the letter, which in this case is to get a job. Have yoiu thought about including this information in the CV, which I presume you will be attaching? What/how much information do you wish to inculde?
