Question does/do in question

Hello, can someone correct my sentence, thank? im not sure whether it is correct or not...

1.Does the usage of petrol is increased because of them?

That's not quite right, unfortunately! "Do" and "Does" in a question always go with a bare infinitive, e.g.

1. Does he like fish?
2. Do you expect rain?

So you can't join "does" to "is increased".

Would you like to try your sentence again? Then I'll check it for you.
