lots of
I learned that "a lot of, lots of ,plenty of" can be used for a both countable and uncountable noun. But I don't know if they can be used in a nagative sentence. for example;
#1. We didn't have lots of rain yesterday.
#2. We didn't earn plenty of money last year.
Are these sentences correct gramatically?
Could any teacher tell me?
