Pls advise me how to say the address as following house 3/5 lane 1 ( is it 3 per 5) and what is the difference between "highway" and "motorway"? Thanks

If ytou mean that the house is so big it occupies more than one number, then we say 'to'. In the UK, we have motorways and in the States they have freeways and highways. A motorway is a road linking cities to get there quickly without traffic lights, etc. I'll let an American explain their road system.

In the US, highways are major thoroughfares or roads. They often have a number (such as US 10 or M1) and can cross from state to state or be limited to one state. They have traffic lights and stops and intersections, like a regular road, but the speed limit is usually a little faster. A freeway or expressway is an Interstate that can often go across the country. There are no traffic lights and no stopping and the maximum speed limit is usually 75 miles per hour. http://www.interstate-guide.com/interstate.html
