Default about "fun"

dear expert:

I got confused with the word "fun". What is the function of fun in sentence like "Playing computer games is fun.". Is it a noun or an adjective?

troubling,

ysl

There it's an adjective, but it can be a noun- 'we had fun yesterday'.
