    Question Share sth with sb

    Hi,

Can I use the construction "share news with somebody" in the meaning "give somebode news"? We have such a expression in Polish and I really lack it in English.

    Best,
    Nyggus

Default Re: Share sth with sb

    Hi Nyggus,

    The short answer is 'yes'.

'I shared the news with him', 'he shared the news with her' or to expand it:

'I shared the news about (???) with him, 'he shared the news he just received with his wife'.

    Take care,
