Suppose each student is only given 10 minutes to explain his thesis what will the chairman say? Should it go like the following:

'The purpose of this meeting is to afford people the opportunity to explain and defend their theses'. EACH STUDENT IS ALLOWED TEN MINUTES TO EXPLAIN HIS THESIS . I now call on xxxx to explain and justify his/her thesis...
