Question Either...

Hi:

"This is not the same aim as the aim of our procedure, which is either to minimize the time of executing the algorithm or to optimize the algorithm's parameters."

Is this sentence correct?
Thanks,
Nyggus

The either doesn't really need to be in there because of the "or", and personally I would shorten the first clause to: "This is not our aim..."

Thus: "This is not our aim, which is to minimize the time of executing the algorithm or to optimize the algorithm's parameters."
