Hi!![]()
Does this sentence sound natural to you?
"There came about a bitter feeling between the two sides."
Is there any difference between " a bitter feeling" and " bitter feelings"?
Your advice will be appreciated.
Welcome, 1949.
'There came about' sounds somewhat archaic - to me.
a bitter feeling <one shared feeling>
bitter feelings <more than one feeling>

What words can we use in place of those words?
