    Dear Teacher,

    Kindly tell me if this is ok:

    "In life it is not possible to attain desired results always"

    The adverb 'always' needs to be closer to the word it modifies.

    Thanks so much for that appreciaton, but I still have a doubt with that sentence:

    "In life it is not always possible to attain desired results"

    Does this sentence require 'the' before 'desired'?

    'the' is specific; it would further define 'desired results'. So, for example, if 'the desired results', which desired results would you be referring to? You'd have to add the information to your sentence.

    Thanks so much for your reply.

    Woukd this be ok?

    1) This company did very well in the market bacause it had the government back up.

    2) A new performance appraisal system was incorporated in the company .It was an effective system.But no training was given to employees.
