    Hi to everybody.

    I read this sentece;
    Learning English has been anything but easy and predictable.
    what does this sentence mean?
    Is't mean learning English is not easy nor predictable?

    Thanks in advance

    'anything but' means, not at all, by no means, and it's used to emphasize that something is the opposite of what you might expect.

    EX: Learning English has not been easy or predictable.

    it means up to now since the present perfect is used so English can be anything except being easy and predictable
