'trip' 'tour' or 'journey' ? What's the difference?

Teacher Re: 'trip' 'tour' or 'journey' ? When I use journey, I am only thinking about the travelling, but with trip, I include the purpose, so when I say 'my jorney to work', I am simply thinking about the commuting, but I would go on a business trip. A tour is moving from place to place.
