I head this book from one of my English teacher. He just tell us that this book is a good book. In Amercia, freshmen major in literature should read this book as a textbook.( Is that true?)

I want to get more information about this book. But when I use a google or msn to search it, I found there were many useless information, for example, sell information.

I was able to find some information about the book. I wasn't able to find out much, but it seems that it is indeed used in college courses on rhetoric and composition.
