    Wink "as" or" what"

    Air is to men as water is to fish.
    Can I change "as" to "what"? why

    First of all, may I know what does it mean by "Air is to men as water is to fish"?

    As for ur question, I think you should not change 'as' to 'what'.Because the sentence will then be ungrammatical.
