No difference I think, just that 'jump at'(an opportunity usually) is more commonly used.![]()
For my opinion, these verbs are difficult in some way///
Leap at - you use,
when, for example, you can not find any opportunities to do something,and suddenly you have one and you leap at![]()
jump at
you see your friend,whom you have not visited for several years, and you very glad to see him/her and you jump at///
BUT
in figurative sense/meaning jump at and leap at have the same meaning![]()
