What is the word for when you cant remember the word for something?

Do you know what - I can't remember - ha ha!

Actually lethologica is the temporary inability to remember a word.

I hope you don't suffer from it!

I frequently have lethologica, but I probably won't remember that word, so you'll have to remind me of it.

Contractions:

what's = what is
can't = can not
it's = it is
I'm = I am
we're = we are
they're = they are

Are you talking about lapse, slip (of the memory/mind) ? it's when you cannot remember a word for something you call that a lapse, right?

In my case, I call a memory lapse a 'senior moment' or 'brain freeze'!
