Yes, I got an email with this sentence. I cannot understand it and it doesn't make sense to me either. Wanted to see if anybody has any idea on this??

It's ungrammatical, and so has no sense as written. Perhaps the sentence was intended to be "What were you thinking of this lady for?"? do you have any more context for the sentence?
Maybe:
"What do you think of this lady?"
"For what do you think this lady would be suitable?"
(I hesitate to ask for more context.)
